President Obama has clearly laid out what will be the most important agenda item for him to screw up in his second term: Wealth Inequality. You see, in Obama’s first term he has been devastating on the poor. When he focuses his attention on wealth inequality, we are sure to see him widen that gap even further with his anti success message and redistributive policies. 46,000,000 Americans living in poverty is not enough for our President. He’d like to see this number increase and see the 20% of households currently on food stamps to rise during his second term. After all, food stamps are an economic stimulus according to Democrats and jobs aren’t. Imagine that. 23,000,000 households are on food stamps out of the 115,000,000 households in America. Median household income is down $2600 and 6.6M more people are in poverty just in Obama’s first term alone. We’ve seen what happens when Obama “focuses” his efforts on something. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, please see Obamacare and the 1/6 of the economy he’s trying to destroy.
This brings us to Michelle Obama and how she is a great illustration of the wealth inequality gap. Fresh off of her extravagant Hawaii vacation hanging with Oprah that cost taxpayers millions, she threw a lavish 50th birthday party at the White House. How lavish? Well, we won’t know because cell phones were banned. The White House and Obamas wouldn’t want the poor and average people they claim to represent to see them drinking expensive champagne, eating caviar, and rubbing elbows with celebrities and the super wealthy. Especially when President Obama continues to damn those that are wealthy and successful like him. How would he be able to sell the idea that wealth inequality is devastating to America when he himself is spending millions of taxpayer dollars to throw expensive parties, take elegant vacations, or play over 160 rounds of golf?
And that brings us to the beautiful and hypocritical First Lady and the words she told us a few years back: “If any family in this country struggles, then we cannot be fully content with our own family’s good fortune. Because that is not what we do in this country. That is not who we are. That is not who we are.” And that brings me to this amazing video (keep in mind this is in September 2012 and doesn’t include many of her additional vacations). Michelle Obama’s pro-social initiative is Let’s Move. Maybe it should be Let Them Eat Cake.
